The French term "plein aire" simply means that the artist travels out of doors with equipment in tow to capture the landscape and mood while coping with the elements and the changing light. These paintings were all completed on site.

This project was begun in October 2013 and completed in August 2014. The installation was comprised of two figures sculpted from clear packing tape and three painted "witnesses". It was in place August 7-21, 2014, at the Riverside Art Museum atrium in Riverside, CA.
